FAQ

Hi! Fire away!

I’ve found a swimsuit I love and I am just about to order, but how do I know what size to go for without trying it on?

We recommend, if you have a tape measure, to take your measurements and check against our size guide which you can find here - https://sandandpalm.com/size-guide

If you are between sizes, we recommend going for the larger size as it’s always better for it to be a bit bigger rather than too tight.

Even better, if you are Cornwall based, come to our shop and HQ at 5 Wesley Yard, Newquay, TR7 1LB. Here you can see the full range and try some on to see which fit you best!

Why is the lead time 2 weeks?

We are a small start up business and online orders are currently made to order. We say 2 weeks from order to delivery, just to be safe as we don’t want you to worry about where your swimsuit is!

The manufacturing process is a long one as we hand dye and screen print the fabric in house, so it takes longer than other companies. Your patience is very much appreciated and it will be well worth your wait!

Do you ship internationally?

Yes we certainly do! The cost is £10, it’s tracked and takes 7-10 working days.

Can I return my item if it doesn’t fit or I don’t like it?

We are sure you will love your item! But if it doesn’t fit we can offer an exchange or store credit. As we make to order unfortunately at this time we cannot offer refunds. Please see further details on return terms and conditions here - https://sandandpalm.com/terms-conditions

How do I care for my garment?

Please treat your bikini with respect and it will love you for it! Hand wash with natural soap and allow to dry naturally.

I’m a bit worried, the print is fading on my swimsuit, is that normal?

The fading of the print on your garment is completely normal and due to the nature of being screen printed. Please expect the print to fade somewhat with wear and sunshine. It only fades a certain amount and that’s part of the effect and journey of the garment. We do clearly state this upon purchase and on our hang tags too.

I would love to collaborate with sand&palm, who do I get in touch with to enquire about that?

We are always open to new collaborations. If you think you are a good fit with sand&palm please email Vicki at info@sandandpalm.com and introduce yourself and why you would like to work together!

Where else are you stocked apart from online?

We are pretty exclusive in where we stock sand&palm - we currently just sell online, at Bon Bon Fistral, Newquay and at our brand new very own store in Newquay!

Haven’t answered your question? Please get in touch with us at info@sandandpalm.con and we will get back to you straight away.
